Caregiver

As a Caregiver at our Cambridge Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our residents daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals supporting mealtimes and assisting residents who need help eating
• Aiding with hygiene such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities such as puzzles table tennis etc

3 weeks paid training commences onsite on the 27th January 2026 ahead of the care centres official opening. 

You will work a 4 days on 2 days off rotating shift pattern with a minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week. Shifts will be across morning afternoon and nights.

Qualifications :

You will naturally be empathetic kind and patient and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to peoples lives.

Youll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or similar industry
• NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3 or 4) or equivalent (essential)
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning afternoon and night shifts
