Job Description
This is a 6 months full-time internship opportunity for our Asset Liability Management (ALM) team. You will be an active member of the ALM function in Sun Life to support Business Unit goals provideing support in streamlining ALM reports and process improvement.
- Support quarterly and monthly reports to monitor ALM related risks (including interest rate equity currency and liquidity risks) ensuring adherence to operating guidelines.
- Assist in analysis of ALM strategies for operating and surplus segments to optimize risk return trade-off.
- Provide support to the ALM team on ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
Preferred Skills
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Eager to take own initiative and improve existing tools
Qualifications
- Studying in Actuarial Science or Finance related degree
- Strong in Microsoft Excel and coding skills
