Sulzer is looking for a skilled and motivated Painter to join our team at the Leeds manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role within our paint department supporting daily operations and ensuring high-quality finishes across a range of industrial components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out painting tasks to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Prepare surfaces and apply coatings using appropriate techniques and materials
- Maintain paint equipment and ensure stock levels are monitored
- Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and support continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with quality checks and documentation as required
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in industrial painting or coating applications
- Good understanding of paint processes and materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive approach to health and safety in the workplace
- NACE Level 2 certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
