Job Summary

The role

The Global Employer Brand & Careers Marketing Manager will design and execute a comprehensive integrated employer brand strategy creating and implementing tactics to build the brand in the talent marketplace and within the organisation. You will also lead the implementation of our people proposition ensuring our values and culture are brought into our employer branding at every level.

Talent attraction is imperative to the success of Clifford Chance and a strong Employer Branding professional will help us attract the best and brightest candidates as well as creating a uniquely positive candidate experience.

Your role will focus on improving and enhancing the firms online recruitment marketing presence (through the global careers website social media and third party channels) plus being responsible for content generation and creation as well as updating and managing our key recruitment branding platforms while ensuring that good quality applicants are driven towards our careers website and job postings.

Who you will work with

You will work closely with the global talent acquisition team focused on improving the candidate talent pool and enhancing their recruitment marketing reach whilst implementing the people proposition regionally to distinguish us as the employer of choice across markets. You will also work closely with Brand Communications and Public Affairs team to ensure alignment across all employer brand campaigns and assets.

What you will be responsible for

You will be the brand guardian for all employer brand content. You will oversee and manage the careers content management system with the Digital Content Specialist and will govern the brand and ensure there is global consistency in the verbal and visual identity of the Clifford Chance brand being articulated globally across all touchpoints with prospective candidates.

Working with HR Recruitment and Brand Communications Marketing and Public Affairs team colleagues around the network you will be responsible for content generation updating regular monitoring and improvement of our external employer branding channels (such as the careers website) and for overall content development curation and management on third party channels (such as Glassdoor LinkedIn Indeed) creation of marketing collateral for local office campaigns creation of a global social media strategy of seasonal and evergreen content management of recruitment merchandise.

What you will do

Key responsibilities will be split into the following:

People Proposition

  • You will work closely with the Brand Communications and Public Affairs team the Global Talent Acquisition network and Inclusion teams to bring our people proposition and brand narrative to life by sharing an insight into our high performance culture career growth testimonials experiences and affinity networks across our networks.
  • You will ensure adherence and consistent delivery of our people proposition and you will weave this into online and offline materials globally. You will work collaboratively with regional offices on identifying what makes the firm attractive to candidates; highlighting key differentiators that set us apart in the market; leveraging candidate-facing communications social media and video to convey the employee experience.

Brand governance

  • You will ensure brand governance across all recruitment marketing platforms and oversee that all recruitment marketing aligns with the core people proposition working closely with the global recruitment network to ideate suitable innovative campaigns materials and regionally relevant content that is suitable for their demographic and in line with their local competition.

Content creation

  • You will develop and implement a multichannel global social media strategy for all employer brand activities alongside the social media manager building a structured calendar to help strengthen the position of Clifford Chance as an employer of choice and to support our direct sourcing strategy.
  • You will create and develop content that is relevant and up to date with our followers expectations as well as brand assets and a tone of voice that showcases what its like to work for Clifford Chance across platforms.
  • You will work with suppliers such as external photographers production teams and agencies on global content generation of imagery videos and copy and where applicable manage those supplier relationships.
  • You will oversee all content on our careers websites and other collateral and be responsible for writing and editing copy to ensure that it is aligned relevant and up to date with our people proposition and recruitment goals.

Campaign measurement and regular reporting

  • Monitor the effectiveness of recruitment marketing through online advertising and the performance of the global careers website suggesting improvements on content and placement to maximise the efficacy of marketing collateral.
  • You will regularly collate feedback conduct competitor analysis and contribute new ideas to ensure our employer brand is continually evolving.

People

  • You will line manage two colleagues (Digital Content Specialist and Global Employer Brand and Careers Marketing Senior Specialist) based in our Delhi office.
     

Qualifications :

Your experience

You will have proven experience in careers marketing or employer branding either working in an agency or within an organisations recruitment careers or marketing function. You will be a passionate and credible communicator. Experience of working in an international environment would be advantageous as would proficiency in another language.

Skills:

You will:

  • Have excellent written communication skills - the ability to write compelling copy punchy straplines and keep the message on brand is an essential skill
  •  Be confident with content management systems and online platform updates
  • Be highly client-focused with strong influencing communication and teamwork skills
  •  Be highly responsive with excellent ability to absorb information quickly
  •  Be an expert user of social media
  • Be confident with the ability to work well in a demanding environment
  • Be confident with the ability to work well in a high performance environment
  • Prioritising effectively is an essential skill
  • Have very strong time management skills

Experience

  •  A track record of managing content management systems and campaign ideation across digital platforms
  •  Experience in promoting the employer brand narrative to both build awareness of the brand and engagement to drive a positive candidate experience
  •  A track record of planning executing and delivering awareness on social media
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines is essential
  •  You will have had experience in using your own judgement to provide solutions to complex problems

This role follows our balanced hybrid working approach and as long as business needs allow you will be supported to work in a hybrid way with the expectation of working from the office for a minimum of 50% of your time.
