Were looking for a skilled Finance Controller to join our team and help us build strong financial foundations for our future growth. Youll play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting robust financial controls and compliance reporting directly to the Head of Finance UK all while supporting an exciting new chapter for TOMRA Collection in the UK.
What Youll Do
Lead and develop a direct report responsible for junior accounting and administration tasks a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and statutory requirements
- Manage corporation tax VAT and regulatory filings
- Coordinate audits and liaise with tax authorities
- Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
- Support cashflow forecasting and UK market entry initiatives
- Oversee ERP/finance systems (IFS) and handle legal document archives
Qualifications :
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA ACCA or CIMA) with 3-7 years experience
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Proven experience in financial reporting tax compliance and audits
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and develop team members
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
