About the new role:
Working closely with residents their families and the multidisciplinary team the Registered Nurse will lead the assessment of the strengths and needs of individual residents and the development of individualised person-centered support that promotes physical and emotional wellbeing.
This position offers the opportunity to deliver direct clinical care manage healthcare services for residents and mentor dedicated staff. As a Registered Nurse you will lead resident care efforts and collaborate with the Clinical Manager to identify best practices and oversee quality initiatives making a significant impact on the well-being of residents and contributing to the overall excellence of the home.
Positions are available at our regional sites in Alstonville Coraki Parkes Dubbo Wagga Wagga and Macquarie Park.
About you:
To be considered candidates must have:
- A tertiary qualification in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical leadership role with the proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills and a heart for service.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- A genuine alignment with BaptistCares Purpose Vision & Values.
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Act and AN-ACC funding model.
