Position Summary: | |
Physiotherapy takes a whole person approach to health and wellbeing. This means that the persons general lifestyle as well as medical condition is taken into account. Physiotherapists work with people affected by injury illness or disability through movement and exercise manual therapy education and advice. They facilitate the maintenance of health for people of all ages working with patients to manage pain and prevent disease. Through their work physiotherapists facilitate recovery enabling people to remain independent for as long as possible and so to stay at work. At the core is the patients involvement in their own therapy. This is achieved through education awareness empowerment and participation |

Statutory Registration Professional Qualifications Experience etc you are a section 91 candidate please see note * AND (ii) Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. AND (iii) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. 2. Annual registration (i) On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
