Job Summary

Role:

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
Supports the SeaComm applicant and onboarding processes through various job responsibilities. Provides excellent member service in all support responsibilities both internal and external.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages job posting and advertisement process. Ensures posting compliance requirements and company standards are met for all job postings.
  • Manages the applicant contact and follow up process meeting company timing and service expectations for all interactions. Creates offer documents and executes conditional candidate offers upon approval.
  • Manages the candidate background check process ensuring all steps are documented and meet company hiring standards.
  • Manage and conduct new hire orientation. Coordinates with the HR Specialist and other applicable departments to schedule the new hire orientation process. Communicate the orientation time location and process to all new hires once scheduled.
  • Maintain the organization and efficiency if the HR file room. Assist with filing compliance and internal audits.
  • Manages the SeaCash program and all employee orders according to program guidelines.
  • Assist with department reporting and tracking needs.
  • Perform payroll back-up responsibilities when needed. Follow all payroll processing procedures and processes accurately and on time.
  • Manage the company Intranet Employee Directory per company standards.
  • Perform other Human Resources job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A two-year college degree or (2) completion of a specialized course of study at a business school or trade school.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution building relationships and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills: Must have strong organizational skills be detail oriented able to work independently and have excellent multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Range: $19.05 - $22.00 per hour. Position also eligible for quarterly incentives and annual bonus.

Actual starting salary will be determined based on skills experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors consistent with applicable law.
