Health Safety & Wellbeing Advisor Fixed-Term

Were looking for an experienced Health Safety & Wellbeing Advisor (Intermediate level) to join our passionate Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) team on a fixed-term contract through to December 2026.

This is a hands-on delivery-focused role where youll partner with teams to enable safe healthy and effective everyday work.

What youll be doing

• Supporting the delivery of our Protection Strategy to enable healthy work where our people can thrive.
• Coaching and supporting leaders to own health safety and wellbeing.
• Partnering with stakeholders to identify and control critical risks and ensuring reliable and effective risk management.
• Building confidence in the use of our health and safety systems.
• Assisting with event learning activities and facilitating risk assessments.
• Advocating for teams to drive practical improvements that support healthy work.
• Conducting internal reviews audits and observations to support continuous improvement and our assurance programme.
• Supporting the delivery of wellbeing initiatives across the business.

Youll work across diverse business areas and with a range of external delivery partners and contractors. Your ability to influence educate and bring others on the journey will be key to your success.

Who were looking for

Youll bring:

• A collaborative professional and pragmatic approach with the ability to balance strategic goals and frontline realities to achieve positive outcomes.
• Proven health and safety experience in complex or high-risk environments such as aviation construction operations or emergency services.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety management systems and processes.
• Confidence working in varied situations with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Ideally youll have a relevant H&S qualification (or equivalent experience) and the confidence to influence at all levels of the organisation.
