Job Summary

Position Description:

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a dedicated and skilled board certified / board eligible Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team in West Bend. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to athletes and individuals with musculoskeletal injuries promoting wellness and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team.

Position Highlights:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Perform procedures such as joint injections ultrasound-guided injections and minor surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Provide sideline coverage and medical support at athletic events as needed

Position Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine Internal Medicine Emergency Medicine or Physician Medicine & Rehabilitation
  • Fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine
  • State medical license and DEA registration
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
