NABERS is a national program which provides sustainability ratings for the built environment. The program is mandated by the Commonwealth government for office buildings and provides voluntary ratings ina number ofother sectors. To find out more visit Operations and Standards team is currently seeking to appoint a Products and Standards (P&S) Manager.
The P&S team ensures that the corresponding NABERS rules are established to facilitate smooth operations when new NABERS tools are released. It also looks after the review maintenance and updates of existing rules and resources that achieve reliable ratings that everyone can trust supporting a simple and easy rating process.
About The Role
About You
The Products and Standards manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the NABERS rating tools by overseeing the NABERS rules and standards. NABERS currently has tools that covers more than 10 building sectors as well as Energy Water Indoor Environment Waste and Carbon Neutral. This role works closely with subject matter experts across the branch to finalise rules for our new products as well as rules updates to existing rules.
The role also manages feedback on our rules to identify and leads rules improvement projects that make our rules more streamlined for NABERS and our customers. This role has one direct report. It would suit someone who is pragmatic with an eye for detail and enjoys working with a variety of people across a broad range of topics.
