Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Manager in the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) Program Office with Risk & Opportunity (R&O) management responsibilities. You will work closely with the Program Manager Chief Engineer and cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive best in class performance by identifying and tracking risks and opportunities to enable predictable performance on contracts.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop program-enhancing partnerships across Integrated Product Teams (IPT) Cross Business Teams (CBT) (e.g. Engineering Operations and Supply Chain) Finance and all other support functions on the Program
  • Drive effective R&O management processes best practices and compliance
  • Facilitate the Program Risk and Opportunity Management Board (ROMB) cadence
  • Create and analyze program level R&O metrics
  • Support program start up process with R&O related workshops
  • Ensure program IMS adequately reflects R&O mitigation/capture plans
  • Review and reconcile EAC R&O status with register data
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Risk Management with the customer
  • Expected to support domestic travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience with Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Experience balancing technical cost and schedule on a program

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Project) and common program management tools / systems (PMX Project Risk Register etc.)
  • Prior experience supporting development production or sustainment programs
  • Experience with various types of contracts (e.g. Cost Plus Firm Fixed Price Production and Development)
  • Professional experience in program or project management and/or as an IPT lead
  • Experience with EVMS and IMP/IMS development

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
