Physician - Neurologist Resident Clinic Supervisor / General Neurology

The University of Kansas Health System Department of Neurology is seeking a part-time Neurologist with a strong interest in resident education and supervision to join our academic faculty. This position plays a key role in supporting the departments mission to deliver high-quality patient care and provide exceptional training for future neurologists. About the Position:

  • Serve as attending physician for resident continuity clinics providing direct supervision teaching and mentorship to neurology residents as they develop outpatient clinical skills.
  • Provide outpatient care to patients in the general neurology clinic.
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings; contribute to departmental educational activities and didactic sessions.
  • Engage in scholarly activities such as quality improvement education research or clinical research in general neurology.
  • Contribute to the neurology residency and medical school programs helping foster a supportive and high-quality learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD DO or equivalent
  • Board certified/eligible in Neurology
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
