Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher seeking a Full-Time leadership-focused classroom role from January 2026 A thriving Good primary in Crawley is recruiting a Year 6 Teacher to lead an upper KS2 cohort. The successful Year 6 Teacher will prepare before January 2026 attend induction during January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 6 Teacher.

What the Year 6 Teacher will do
The Year 6 Teacher will design ambitious revision and curriculum units lead SATs preparation where appropriate and run targeted booster groups as the Year 6 Teacher. This Full-Time Year 6 Teacher will monitor progress closely work with pastoral staff to support wellbeing and coordinate transition into secondary school beginning in the weeks prior to January 2026 and continuing after January 2026. The Year 6 Teacher will also lead enrichment projects mentor younger staff and contribute to whole-school assessment policy as the Year 6 Teacher.
Leadership and development for the Year 6 Teacher
This role is ideal for a Year 6 Teacher looking to progress into leadership. The Year 6 Teacher will be supported with leadership coaching opportunities for middle leadership and access to a development budget for courses after January 2026. The Year 6 Teacher will play a central role in moderation and in planning transition events for families in the period around January 2026 and beyond.
Person specification Year 6 Teacher
We are seeking a Year 6 Teacher with QTS proven experience securing strong Upper KS2 outcomes and confidence in data-driven planning. The successful Year 6 Teacher will be adept at motivating learners managing assessment cycles and communicating with parents and secondary colleagues. The Year 6 Teacher should be available for pre-term preparation prior to January 2026 induction in January 2026 and to commence teaching from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 6 Teacher.
