Job Summary
An Outstanding Secondary School in West Yorkshire requires a permanent full-time Teacher of Science starting January 2026. This is a key role for a colleague to join a high-achieving Science faculty.

Responsibilities
- The Teacher of Science will deliver rigorous instruction across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE) covering all three scientific disciplines.
- The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting investigative skills and advanced theoretical understanding leading up to GCSE.
- They must contribute to the schools commitment to continued investment in professionals through expert support and training.
- The teacher is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes and participate proactively in departmental planning.
Requirements
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has a successful record of teaching with strong examination results at KS3 and KS4.
- Has the right to work in the UK.
- Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Science (Biology Chemistry or Physics).
