Job Summary
OCU is seeking a dynamic and experienced Water Project Manager to lead the planning execution and delivery of a leading project based in Bradford.
This is a pivotal role in driving the success of our water initiatives ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope timelines and resource needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure deliverables are met.
- Monitor progress and proactively address any issues or deviations
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients regulators and internal teams.
- Communicate project milestones and updates clearly and consistently.
- Resolve stakeholder concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Implement quality control processes and conduct regular inspections.
- Maintain safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate technical financial and operational risks.
- Develop contingency plans to avoid delays or cost overruns.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing water/ waste water related projects.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment projects.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera P6).
- PMP Agile PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is a plus.
