The Role
The school is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled KS1 Teacher to join a friendly and dedicated team. You will teach across Key Stage 1 delivering a broad balanced curriculum that inspires and challenges pupils.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging high-quality lessons across KS1.
- Assessing monitoring and tracking pupil progress to ensure all learners reach their potential.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice.
- Creating a positive inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Maintaining open and effective communication with parents and carers.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching learning and pupil progress.
