About the Position Position Specialty: Med Surg RN Shift: 3x12s Nights 7p-7a with holidays as needed Ratios: 1:6 Beds: 54 Weekend REQ: Every other weekend Is on-call REQ (Y/N): No Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities Yes Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years of Med Surg experience First-timers accepted: (Y/N): Yes License REQ: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certs REQ: BLS Required; ACLS Required Special Requirements: IV start skills required Tele/management of cardiac gtt experience preferred Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Approval can be requested prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: (Y/N): Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Front entrance/ER entrance of the hospital is parking area D (located on a hill). If traveling via Roberts Street the parking area is located to the right when entering the hospital parking area. Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
