Job Summary
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide insights on business performance by analysing commercial and financial information and support in all reporting and planning activities.
Key Responsibilities.
Analysing large datasets identifying trends and extracting insights using tools like Excel and Power BI
Support to build financial models and simulations to support the business decision making process
Understanding the business context identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing strategies to improve financial performance.
Support the business with ad hoc data requests related to trading performance account reconciliation or any other
Support during planning process (Budget and Forecasting) by providing insights into trading and opex variances as well as producing tables and graphs to illustrate these trends and changes
Client override process support including but not limited to database maintenance and reconciliation.
Required Experience and Knowledge.
Essential
Qualifications & Knowledge
- Advanced Excel
- Financial or Big Data studies
- Able to communicate effectively & professionally verbally and in writing in both Spanish and English
Experience Skills and Behavioural Requirements
- Proven analytical skills preferably gained during university studies
- Communicates effectively at all levels
- Strong collaboration attitude with team and other departments Highly organised and able to manage own time effectively to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail. Produces high quality work consistently accurately and on time
- Able to learn how to use ERP and Datawarehouse systems (i.e. SAP Power BI and any other that business can adopt in the future
