Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep maintenance and repair of building systems production equipment and machinery. This includes hydraulic pneumatic electrical mechanical and electronic systems. The role supports plant operations by troubleshooting issues performing preventative maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repairs on plant machinery equipment and building systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical issues.
Conduct preventative maintenance on machines forklifts and equipment.
Assist with minor electrical plumbing carpentry and painting tasks.
Maintain tools machinery and equipment in optimal working condition.
Conduct water treatment testing and record results.
Follow all plant job specifications safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Assist team members in diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years related experience in maintenance.
Experience with low-pressure boilers air compressors air dryers vacuum pumps and forklifts.
Proficient in reading schematics and troubleshooting mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; self-starter able to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
Ability to sit stand walk stoop bend reach and work in awkward positions.
Close vision and ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing environment with high noise levels; ear protection required.
Requires adherence to safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
