The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager the Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning execution and successful delivery of high-value and technically challenging civil projects.
Youll manage multiple project teams lead from the front on quality budget and safety and act as the key liaison between clients subcontractors and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading project planning governance and execution across multiple civil projects.
  
• Managing budgets financial forecasting and cost control.
  
• Overseeing contract administration procurement and subcontractor performance.
  
• Driving QA/QC compliance and maintaining strict safety standards.
  
• Mentoring Project Managers and Engineers to lift capability across the business.
  
• Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and reporting.
  
• Identifying risks and implementing strategies to mitigate issues early.
  

The Person

Youre a results-driven leader who thrives on ownership and accountability. With a background in civil construction you understand the complexities of large-scale infrastructure delivery and have the communication and leadership skills to guide multiple project teams toward success.

• A decade or more experience in project management within civil or infrastructure sectors specifically with multiple years as a senior.
  
• Proven ability to deliver multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget.
  
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding to keep clients informed and the team aligned
  
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
  
• Confident in your knowledge regarding earthworks roads drainage and civil structures.
  
• A commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement.
  
• Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering Construction Management or similar
