Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our mobile clinical team supporting adults in residential aged care and the community.
- Provide dysphagia and communication assessment and intervention for adults.
- Open to permanent part-time (PPT) applicants with opportunities to support Plenas Speech Pathology Telehealth Clinic.
- Suitable for both recent graduates and experienced clinicians.
You will deliver high-quality mobile Speech Pathology services to adults living with conditions such as dementia Parkinsons disease post-stroke impairments progressive neurological disorders and ageing-related decline.
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing your own schedulechoose the work hours and locations that suit you.
- Assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties.
- Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
- Collaborating with a national team of Speech Pathologists.
- Advocating for clients with communication difficulties.
- Working closely with care staff support coordinators and Plena colleagues to ensure optimal care.
- Providing consultative and educational support to clients families and colleagues.
