Amergis Educational Staffing is Hiring!Position: Remote Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Greenfield CAStart Date: ASAP Through End of School YearPay Rate: $65$70/hrSchedule: Full-time 40 hours/weekWere seeking a passionate and experienced Bilingual SLP to join our team remotely and support students in the Greenfield CA Details:Caseload: 55 studentsAge Groups: Pre-K (1 student) and 7th/8th Grade (2 students)Language Requirement: Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assesses students communication skills (e.g. articulations fluency voice expressive and receptive language etc.) for the purpose of identifying communication disorders determining program eligibility and developing recommendations for treatmentCollaborates with a variety of groups and/or individuals for the purpose of communicating information resolving issues and providing services in compliance with established guidelinesCoordinates meetings and processes for eligible students (e.g. testing/screening IEPs parent conferences pre-referral staffing etc.) for the purpose of presenting evaluation results developing treatment plans and/or providing training to parents/students/staffDevelops treatment plans interventions and/or educational materials for the purpose of minimizing the adverse impact of communication disorders in compliance with regulatory requirementsInstructs eligible students in the use of appropriate communication technologies (e.g. hearing aids FM systems augmentative communication devices etc.) Maintains files and/or records (e.g. progress reports activity logs billing information treatment plans required documentation quarterly reports screening results etc.) Participates in meetings workshops and seminars (e.g. training IEPs team meetings etc.) Provides speech and language therapy to students for the purpose of minimizing the adverse impact of speech and language disorders on student success Seeks appropriate in-service and professional development Performs other duties as assigned/necessaryMinimum Requirements:Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment requiredCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract. Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice Participation and completion of Amergis Competency program when applicableCurrent CPR if applicableTB questionnaire PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal state and local requirements Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including but not limited to supervisors co-workers clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required Computer proficiency required Must be at least 18 years of age
