Mechanical Site Manager

Due to continued growth we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager in Galway.

This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers Site Supervisors Project Managers EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.

Main duties:

• Oversee the installation commissioning and maintenance of mechanical building services.
• Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
• Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ RAMS PPE etc.
• On-site coordination of plant hire tools and labour.
• Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
• Manage relevant external correspondence.
• Order all day-to-day site materials.
• Update appropriate information to progress report.
• Maintaining K&M Document Management System.
• Manage project-specific scheduling.
• Communicate changes to the Project team.
• Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.

Qualifications :

• Relevant engineering or trades qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems HVAC plumbing and fire protection.
• People management experience
• Project Management experience beneficial
• Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Willingness to do some travel if/when required
