About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity now exists for a Project Supervisor to join Programmed responsible for supporting the planning design and delivery of minor capital projects for a key water authority client across metropolitan Melbourne
Reporting to the Project Manager the Project Supervisor is accountable for coordination of onsite subcontractors and technicians and leading from the front by displaying a commitment to safety and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity where you will contribute to the team by building relationships with key contacts stakeholders and service providers while ensuring the scheduled delivery of small to medium value Works across multiple sites.
Nature of the position: Permanent Full Time
Location: Brooklyn
Key Responsibilities
- Manage safety of all employees and subcontractors on site
- Ensure safety documentation and other operational documents are reviewed in accordance with site & client requirements
- Carrying out completion and quality assurance
- Acts as a first response for some reactive priority works assists in scoping and pricing works
- Develop an excellent working relationship with the client
- On site interaction with key stakeholders and subcontractors
About You
- Proven experience in a facilities environment
- Trade background highly desired
- Proven experience in managing subcontractors
- A strong understanding of regulations and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong safety focus and commitment to maintain a safe working environment
