Job Summary
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Leading technical linear infrastructure designs and preparation of contract documents for municipal and industrial clients including planning execution and close-out.
- Assisting in the development of design concepts and criteria analysis and design approach/methodologies alternative design evaluations and constructability reviews.
- Preparation of detailed design calculations; engineering computation/technical reports; construction plans and specifications for projects with medium to high levels of complexity; and QA/QC and value engineering reviews of same.
- Performing bid phase and construction phase services.
- Supporting business development proposal creation project estimating and planning.
- Coordination and mentoring of technical staff and oversight of project teams in collaboration with other Project Managers and those with People Management responsibilities.
- Involvement in technical societies and associations to stay current with engineering standards and practices and emerging technologies

- BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- 8 years of experience (demonstrated expertise accepted) with technical proficiency in water wastewater and stormwater infrastructure design including gravity pipeline design pressure pipeline design and pipeline rehabilitation utilizing trenchless technologies.
- Proficiency in understanding Federal State and local environmental regulations and how they apply to our Municipal and Industrial clients.
- Knowledge and experience with major national and industrial engineering design codes standards guidelines and best practices needed for design of complex structures and projects.
- PE license in VA DC and/or MD required with ability to obtain multiple licenses through reciprocity.
