- Responsible for driving hotel revenue from the leisure and transient segment of the hotel.
- Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy for the leisure segment aligned with the hotels annual revenue and occupancy targets.
- Expanding the leisure business pipeline to maximise profitability.
- Identify target and engage with travel agents online travel platforms tour operators leisure group clients etc.
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure delivery of service standards.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leisure-segment leads; track proposals negotiate rates/packages close deals and monitor conversion.
- Monitor market trends and leisure travel and apply insights to shape offers and promotions.
- Manage relationships with key leisure partner accounts (travel agencies tour operators online partners) ensuring repeat bookings favourable positioning and promotion of the hotel.
- Attend industry events trade shows road-shows client visits site inspections to promote the hotel and secure business.
- Deliver regular account reviews forecasting and check-in meetings with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to optimise pricing packaging and yield strategies for leisure business.
- Create and submit proposals contracts amendments; ensure all bookings are properly documented and turned over to operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities pipeline status forecasts monthly/quarterly results to senior management.
- Liaise with Marketing team to develop targeted campaigns promotional offers and sales collateral for the leisure segment.
- Work cross-functionally with F&B and other departments to tailor offers to leisure clients.
- Represent the hotel externally (industry associations leisure networking events) to raise visibility and brand in the market.
- Keep abreast of hospitality industry trends in the leisure sector developments and apply insights into strategy.
- Maintain professional presentation high level of service orientation and uphold the hotels luxury brand standards.
Qualifications :
- High school Diploma or University Degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales in a luxury hotel especially in the leisure segment
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills to engage clients.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills self-motivated and able to operate in fast-paced luxury environment.
