Job Summary
- Perform tissue culture based assays on live vaccine products process intermediates and related experimental samples
- Prepare solutions and culture media
- Maintain multiple cell lines
- Good trouble shooting ability with cell lines
- Maintain records and test results following good documentation practices
- Work independently and efficiently
- Document work clearly and perform tests accurately
- Communicate effectively with client staff members
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Biology Cell Biology Microbiology or related science and 1-2 Years industry Cell Culture experience
- Experience with PCR qPCR pipetting and understanding of aseptic technique
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
- Automation experience preferred but not required
- Microbiology or Virology Background
- General laboratory skills and experience with pipettes
- Experience using formulas and linking spreadsheets in Excel
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
Additional Information :
Positions are full-time Monday - Friday 8am - 5 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point PA encouraged to apply.
