Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is leading the Civility & Respect Project a major initiative strengthening wellbeing inclusion and respectful behaviour across our clubs members volunteers and staff.
Were looking for a proactive and people-focused Project Coordinator to help deliver this important work. Youll coordinate workshops resources and engagement activities that build understanding improve connections and embed LSVs values across the state.

About the Role
As Project Coordinator Wellbeing youll play a pivotal role in shaping a culture where every person feels safe valued and respected. Youll be at the heart of the Civility & Respect Project coordinating impactful initiatives that promote wellbeing inclusion and respectful behaviour across our diverse network of clubs volunteers and staff.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners youll ensure the smooth planning execution and evaluation of engagement activities training programs and resources that embed LSVs values across the state.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project timelines risks and deliverables to support respectful behaviour and wellbeing across the lifesaving community.
- Facilitate workshops meetings and stakeholder engagement activities that build psychological safety and positive culture.
- Draft and manage key resources including guidebooks manuals and communications that reflect diverse lived experiences.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using MS365 and SharePoint acting as the central coordination point.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to embed project outcomes into ongoing operations and initiatives.
You Will Bring:
- Experience coordinating community education or social impact projects with proven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders including volunteers community groups and senior leaders.
- Strong coordination and organisational skills with experience managing multiple project streams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including facilitation and presentation experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced multi-stakeholder environment.
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee) or eligibility to obtain one.
- Possession of a current and valid drivers licence with the ability and willingness to drive as part of the role including travel between work sites
Whilst not essential the following will also help you be successful in this role:
- Experience in wellbeing inclusion or behaviour-change initiatives within a volunteer or community-based organisation.
- Knowledge of water safety lifesaving Life Saving Victoria Surf Life Saving Australia and Royal Life Saving Society Australia.
- Familiarity with community education engagement or capability-building approaches.
- A tertiary qualification in community development social sciences or project management
