Job Summary

The Health Lab at Williams College is seeking a temporary part-time data manager (10-15 hours/week). This position is ideal for someone who has considerable coding experience (preferably using R) and has managed long-format intensively repeated datasets that contain ecological momentary assessment (EMA; brief repeated smartphone-delivered surveys) and/or sensor data (e.g. GPS sleep weather minute-level Fitbit data).

The Health Lab Data Manager will focus on cleaning (re)coding merging and conducting descriptive and statistical analyses on multiple datasets in the lab. The data manager will also have opportunities for contributing to conference presentations and manuscripts for publication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent is required; a graduate degree involving training in data science is preferable.

  • Experience with R/R Studio Google Office Suite and Microsoft Office is preferred.

  • Attention to detail strong organizational problem-solving and communication skills.

This is a temporary remote work position and is therefore not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must conduct their work in one of the following states to be considered eligible for employment: NY MA CT or VT.
