Heres What You Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
One year of Customer Service experience (REQUIRED)
One year of experience in a contact center environment referral processing and scheduling experience and/or healthcare environment (PREFERRED)
BCPA within 18 months of hire (PREFERRED)
What You Will Do:
Process and complete referrals as directed by Primary Care Providers following Patient Navigation protocols and expectations.
Utilizes exceptional customer service skills to communicate with patients referring and service providers and clinic staff to complete referrals accurately and expediently to minimize errors and reduce delays in care.
Documents referral information in tracking program to be consistent with documentation in the EMR
Submits documentation to obtain insurance referral authorizations and pre-certification for ancillary services diagnostic testing and imaging.
May educate patient on expectations.
