Job Summary

North Search is a global talent consultancy that helps different clients to join the best talent.

On this occasion our client is an international organization operating within the natural health and life sciences sector currently consolidating its commercial organization and presence across Eastern Europe.

We are seeking a Key Account Manager Retail & Wholesale to join their Romanian team. This role will be responsible for managing strategic clients including retail chains networks and wholesalers ensuring business growth profitability and strong customer partnerships aligned with the companys values and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop strategic clients (retail chains groups and wholesalers) ensuring the achievement of sales and profitability targets.
  • Plan and execute commercial strategies and action plans for assigned accounts focusing on business growth market share and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor key economic and financial indicators including distribution metrics sell-in/sell-out performance margins and payment terms ensuring compliance with company commercial policies.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and meetings with clients leveraging analytical data and performance insights to strengthen collaboration and identify improvement areas.
  • Proactively identify market trends business opportunities and competitive actions proposing corrective or preventive strategies.
  • Collaborate with territorial and headquarters teams (Commercial Division Trade Marketing Sales Representatives Area Managers etc.) to ensure consistent implementation of commercial initiatives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer dynamics ensuring the effectiveness of promotional and trade marketing activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities to management through standardized reports and performance analysis.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and excellence setting clear priorities and delivering results through effective planning and decision-making.

What Were Looking For:

  • Education: Degree in Economics Business or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in key account management sales or commercial development within the healthcare pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
  • Languages: Romanian and English required
