We are looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to support design and documentation projects across residential and commercial sectors. You will collaborate closely with Australian engineers and project managers to deliver structural and civil designs compliant with Australian Standards. Develop structural design calculations and documentation using relevant Australian Standards (AS 2870 AS 3600 AS 4100 AS 3700 AS 1720). Prepare engineering drawings technical reports and detailed specifications. Review and verify structural integrity of design outputs prior to submission. Civil and Stormwater Design Support civil and stormwater design including on-site detention (OSD) stormwater drainage and hydraulic impact assessments. Prepare design drawings concept layouts and modeling outputs using DRAINS or similar civil software. Review site layouts and prepare driveway crossover designs and swept path analysis as required. Technical Support and Coordination Respond to RFIs update design revisions and maintain documentation accuracy Coordinate with project engineers drafters and clients to ensure project alignment. Participate in internal QA reviews and ensure compliance with Australian building codes and project standards. Requirements Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Licensed Civil Engineer preferred). 5 years of experience in civil and structural design ideally within a consultancy or design office. Experience in residential or small commercial structures is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Standards is highly advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD SpaceGass RAPT Inducta Strand7 or similar analysis software. Working knowledge of DRAINS or equivalent stormwater software is desirable. Experience in MS Office Revit or BIM tools is a plus. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Strong attention to detail initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision. Preferred Background Familiarity with project documentation standards and QA procedures used in Australian engineering consultancies.

Required Education:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or a related field is desirable.
