Financial Senior Analyst

About the Role:
Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g. profit & loss balance sheet cash flow pricing etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g. Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly monthly and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organizations financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls.
A Sr Analyst Finance Partner is responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis supporting the preparation of budgets and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to monitor financial performance identify variances and recommend corrective actions when needed.
The Sr Analyst Finance Partner plays a key role in managing forecasts preparing management reports and developing financial models that support strategic decision-making. Additionally this position ensures compliance with internal controls corporate policies and applicable financial regulations.
Who You Are:
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting.
Typically 3 years of experience as a financial analyst.
Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development of budgets forecasts and long-term financial plans.
Conduct variance analysis and cost tracking across departments or projects.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for both internal and external use.
Collaborate with accounting teams during month-end close to ensure accurate financial data.
Assist in audits and compliance processes.
Build and maintain financial dashboards and performance metrics.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes systems and reporting accuracy.

Advanced Excel and data analysis
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
