Synergie is seeking a Refrigeration Technican for a mining site at Port Augusta. Our Clienta trusted provider of critical infrastructure and maintenance services to remote mining villages across South Australia. Focused on safety service and operational reliability they keep mine site camps functioning efficiently and comfortably.

ASAP start -3 month contract 2 weeks on 1 weeks off

About the Role:

Working in remote village environments youll play a key part in the upkeep and performance of essential refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Your duties may include:

• Inspect repair and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems across site facilities
• Troubleshoot faults and perform emergency repairs to minimise downtime
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards and site safety procedures
• Conduct routine servicing on cool rooms split systems and HVAC units
• Support major maintenance programs and infrastructure upgrades
• Maintain accurate records of works and refrigerant usage
• Assist with broader village maintenance tasks as required
• Work collaboratively with other trades and site departments
• Deliver proactive servicing to support smooth daily village operations

What Youll Need:

• SA Restricted or Full Refrigeration Handling Licence
• Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Solid experience in fault finding and maintenance on commercial refrigeration and air-con systems
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and obtain police clearance
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive safety-first attitude
• Willingness to work a FIFO roster from Adelaide and live in a remote camp
