Long-Term Substitute Elementary Physical Education Teacher PositionSchool District: York School DepartmentSchool: Coastal Ridge Elementary SchoolGrades Served: Grade 2 - Grade 4Coastal Ridge is seeking a dedicated long-term substitute Physical Education (PE) teacher to join our team for an extended leave serve students in grades 2 through 4 providing a crucial foundation for lifelong health and wellness. This position offers a rewarding chance to shape positive habits and introduce fundamental movement skills in a fun safe and supportive elementary Dates:Start Date: December 8th (or as soon as possible thereafter)End Date: March 8th (approximately 13 weeks)Key Responsibilities:Plan prepare and deliver engaging and age-appropriate PE lessons for students in grades 2 - on developing fundamental motor skills and body social skills teamwork and a safe and inclusive learning environment following school safety student progress and provide constructive equipment inventory and with other elementary staff and and Experience:Preferred:Bachelors Degree in Physical Education or a related experience working with students in lower elementary grades (2-4) preferably in a PE of elementary school curriculum and child development classroom management skills that promote positive behavior and :Demonstrated passion for physical activity and student communication and interpersonal : Commensurate with the district substitute teacher pay scale and for Applications: Open until filled
