Job Summary

Position Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Weekly (possible evening and weekend on-call)

Local Pay: Up to $2440/week
Traveler Pay: Up to $3000/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingNuclear Medicine Technologistfor an exciting Travel or Local job inSyracuse NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients for imaging studies.
Provide patient education regarding procedures preparation and instructions.
Review patient safety and screening questionnaires.
Ensure images are properly labeled and transmitted to PACS (Synapse).
Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of nuclear medicine equipment including Siemens EVOSPECT and Philips Forte cameras and NMIS hot lab systems.
Complete patient documentation and maintain records in EPIC.
Assist physicians as required.
Participate in training and mentoring of other employees.
Follow strict safety infection control and radiation protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong technical knowledge in nuclear medicine procedures and cross-sectional anatomy.
Experience with Siemens EVOSPECT and Philips Forte cameras.
Familiarity with EPIC and Synapse PACS systems.
CPR certification.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Education:

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

NYS License/Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine (or board eligible)
CPR Certification
