Solutions Architect (Data)

Were looking for an Architect with strong data expertise to help us design scalable intelligent systems that make the most of customer data. Youll work across personalisation analytics and customer data platforms (CDP) helping our clients connect the dots between technology insights and experience.

This role suits someone who can zoom out to see the whole system but also zoom in to understand how data flows how its modelled and how it can power better user experiences.

Responsibilities

Architecture & Delivery

• Design solution architectures with a strong focus on data strategy integration and personalisation.
• Work with engineering and design teams to translate data insights into practical product experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to guide implementation and maintain architectural integrity through delivery. 
• Lead conversations on data governance privacy and scalability.
• Advise on CDP implementation and data-driven architecture patterns.
• Conduct architecture reviews code assessments and performance tuning.

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

• Partner with sales and account teams to qualify opportunities and shape winning proposals.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops to capture requirements and propose solutions.
• Create high-impact presentations solution diagrams and estimates that clearly communicate value to executive and technical audiences.
• Present technical strategies and respond to RFPs/RFIs ensuring feasibility and competitive positioning.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients translating business challenges into technology roadmaps.
• Mentor development teams and contribute to best-practice guidelines and reusable solution patterns.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and evaluate their fit for client needs.

Qualifications :

About You 

• Youre fluent in modern data platforms pipelines and cloud architecture.
• Proven track record designing cloud-native solutions (Azure AWS or GCP).
• You know your way around CDPs (e.g. Segment Tealium Salesforce CDP) and understand how they fit into broader ecosystems.
• Strong pre-sales experience: leading pitches crafting proposals estimating projects and presenting to executive stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skillsable to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure Architect) are a bonus.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a consultative mindset.
• Confident presenter with polished interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-moving client-facing environments.
