The Opportunity
This is the opportunity to lead and transform a manufacturing plant.
Beaver Process Equipment makes high-performance engineered products for the mining industry. Youll lead our flagship Brisbane plant manufacturing our Slurryflex Abrasiguard & Defender products. Youll own everything that happens on site from safety quality and production to engineering capital projects and team will be responsible for a capital program to double the plants capacity over the next 3 years.

The Role
This is a full-site leadership role combining operational control technical problem-solving strategic improvement and people leadership.
Youll be running a build-to-order production system using configure-to-order (CTO) and engineer-to-order (ETO) workflows. This is a hybrid job shop environment with separate value streams for each product family.
Youll be leading a major capital program to double the plants capacity over the next 3 years.
What Youll Own:
Site leadership full ownership of all aspects of the site.
Safety & quality drive a zero-harm zero-defect culture (not negotiable).
Production drive daily discipline across safety quality production and cost.
Production control including estimating planning purchasing materials control & transport.
Pre-production engineering improve design-for-manufacture and streamline workflows.
Capital projects deliver major capital program to double the plants capacity over 3 years.
Manufacturing engineering drive process development equipment upgrades layout improvements and bring in-house all processes for maximum control & quality.
Continuous improvement train the team and drive a site-wide improvement culture.
Team recruit develop and empower high-performing managers leaders and teams.
Who You Are
Were looking for a hands-on disciplined manufacturing leader who takes full ownership drives standards and brings structure and accountability to every part of the plant.

Profile 1 - Step-Up Candidate:
Youre early-mid career and are already leading a manufacturing team and youre ready to take charge of a full proven you can lift standards lead teams and deliver improvements. Now you want the full mandate and authority to shape an entire operation.
Profile 2 - Seasoned Plant Leader:
Youve already run a manufacturing site end-to-end production engineering quality safety maintenance and learned a lot of lessons and want to apply them in a high-trust environment where you can build the operation youve always wanted to.
Youll have this experience:
Must have discrete manufacturing background (ie not continuous or batch process).
Ideally manufacturing a companys own engineered product range.
Ideally manufacturing products that are customised-to-order / built-to-order.
Youll have these character traits:

Brisbane Australia based full-time at our manufacturing plant in Salisbury.
