The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle body panels to manufacturer specifications ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This is a Monday to Friday role now weekend work - 7.30 am to 5.00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate vehicle damage to determine repair requirements and methods
• Remove repair and replace damaged components
• Perform metalwork including cutting welding grinding and shaping of vehicle panels
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment for panel beating and bodywork repairs
• Align and fit replacement parts to ensure proper panel gaps and structural integrity
• Collaborate with spray painters and other technicians to complete vehicle repairs
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
• Provide time estimates for repair work and meet project deadlines

About You;

• Trade qualification in Panel Beating.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive panel beating.
• Proficiency in using panel beating tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle construction and repair techniques.
• Understanding of automotive safety standards and regulations
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various positions
• Experience with modern vehicle materials including aluminum and high-strength steel
• Knowledge of computerized measuring systems and frame alignment equipment
• Familiarity with insurance claim processes and documentation
