Mechanical Engineer Intern - Communications - Summer 2026
OTTOs opportunity:
OTTO Communications designs and manufactures innovative two-way radio products for demanding and mission-critical applications. For over 60 years OTTOs products have been recognized for excellence by the military law enforcement public safety agencies and retail and commercial customers worldwide.
We are looking for an enthusiastic mechanical engineering student to perform a variety of duties to support the Engineering team for the Communications Division.
Specifically the Mechanical Engineer Intern will:
- Create and / or revise 3D models or 2D drawings using CREO
- Create Bills of Material
- Create Engineering Change Notices
- Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
What youll need to bring to the table:
- Enrolled in a mechanical engineering program going into junior or senior year
- 3D Solid Modeling experience
- A strong desire to learn
- Good communication skills
- 100% on-site
What OTTO offers for this specific position:
- Hourly rate: $15.25 per hour
