About the Role
As a key sales representative within the worksite channel youll play an active role in introducing our clients products to employees at their place of work. Youll be responsible for identifying prospects delivering impactful sales engagements and ensuring policy activation and retention.
Responsibilities
- Engage face-to-face with employees at various worksites
- Promote and sell our clients Family Cover to individuals
- Generate your own leads and convert them into active clients
- Conduct on-site presentations and one-on-one consultations
- Process applications digitally using a tablet or laptop
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets
- Monitor policy activation (first premium paid) and policy persistency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with worksite contacts and employer representatives
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Preferably has existing access to and relationships with Cape Town-based government worksites
- Ideally has experience with persal and stop order facilities
- Minimum of 2 years experience in long- or short-term insurance sales (flexible)
- RE5 certificate
- Matric certificate
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable using a tablet or laptop to process sales digitally
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in presenting
- Willingness to travel
- Experience with Persal and stop order facilities is ideal
- Completed/Completing FSCA recognized qualification in line with DOFA
- Mobile and willing to travel
- Must be based in Cape Town
