We are seeking 1 x Journalist and 1 x Reporter for permanent junior roles based in East London Eastern Cape.

Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Journalist -

At least 3 years of reporting or content writing for print radio or digital media
Qualification: Diploma or degree in Journalism Communication or English
Strong research and writing abilities
Ability to develop community-driven stories
Familiarity with ethical journalism practices
Confidence in interviewing and sourcing credible information

Reporter -

Minimum 3 years in field reporting radio presenting or multimedia storytelling
Qualification: Diploma or certificate in Journalism Media Studies or Communication
Confident on-mic and on-camera presence
Strong communication and presentation skills
Quick thinking and ability to report live or under deadlines
Familiarity with social media and newsroom workflows

Salary: Market related
