An established wealth management firm in Belville is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their finance team. The ideal individual will take ownership of end-to-end bookkeeping responsibilities ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency across financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:- Process supplier invoices credit notes and payments maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Prepare and reconcile cashbooks supplier accounts and bank statements.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register ensuring that all assets are correctly tagged and verified.
- Assist with the preparation of management reports budget schedules and inter-company reconciliations.
- Process customer invoices credit notes and deposits and assist with following up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare and submit VAT EMP and income tax returns for applicable entities.
- Support with weekly and long-term cash flow reporting and coordinate the payment release process.
- Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation during audits and year-end reviews.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Profile:- Grade 12 with Accounting plus a Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting (or equivalent qualification).
- 57 years experience in a bookkeeping or accounting function with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles reconciliations and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Sage X3 Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and organisational skills.
- Methodical proactive and able to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with a commitment to continuous learning.
