About the Role
As the Talent Acquisition & Management Lead at IIDEs Mumbai office youll play a pivotal role in driving recruitment strategy while also overseeing talent management and core HR operations.
Youll lead a team of recruiters to execute high-volume and strategic hiring collaborate with department heads to forecast workforce needs and ensure smooth onboarding and employee engagement initiatives. This is a leadership role that combines strategic hiring people management and operational excellence to strengthen IIDEs growing talent ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
Lead and own the full recruitment lifecycle across departments from sourcing to onboarding.
Develop and implement strategies for bulk niche and leadership hiring.
Build and nurture a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing.
Mentor and manage a team of 3-5 recruiters to meet the monthly hiring targets.
Partner with functional heads to forecast manpower needs and align hiring priorities.
Ensure efficient interview coordination timely communication and a stellar candidate experience.
Manage job postings across Naukri LinkedIn Internshala and other platforms.
Oversee background verification offer management and joining formalities for all hires.
Track analyze and present recruitment metrics to leadership to improve turnaround and efficiency.
2. Talent Management & HR Operations
Collaborate with the HR Head on employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
Oversee onboarding experiences for new hires to ensure seamless cultural integration.
Support performance management cycles appraisal documentation and goal-setting exercises.
Maintain and update HR data trackers and MIS reports for accuracy and compliance.
Partner with team leads to address workforce challenges improve employee satisfaction and support career development efforts.
Drive small-scale learning initiatives and internal communication efforts related to HR processes.

Requirements
Must-Have
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or related field.
45 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment including team leadership.
Excellent communication people management and stakeholder-handling skills.
Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Google Suite and recruitment reporting.
Should Have
Exposure to bulk hiring talent management and HR operations.
Experience in fast-paced or high-growth organizations.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Passion for mentoring team members and driving process improvements.
Nice to Have
Required Skills:
Must-Have: 35 years of experience in Talent Acquisition & Generalist HR preferably with at least 1 year in a lead or ownership capacity. Proven success in managing volume hiring across departments especially for sales or student-facing roles. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong stakeholder management. Proficiency in ATS tools and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Naukri or Zoho Recruit. Ability to work independently while collaborating with central teams across cities. Nice-to-Have: Prior experience in the education edtech or high-growth startup space. Exposure to employer branding campus hiring or referral programs. Familiarity with HRMS tools (Darwinbox Zoho or similar). Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
