This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional whos looking to combine technical skill with purpose. Youll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and grant tracking while supporting programs that provide families with housing stability and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and payments ensuring proper coding and documentation
- Maintain accurate general ledger activity including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Record donations ACH deposits and contributions in coordination with the Development team
- Support grant and program accounting ensuring expenses align with funding allocations
- Maintain organized digital and physical files to support audits and compliance reviews
- Assist with budget preparation agency monitoring visits and other special projects
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience (nonprofit preferred)
- Strong proficiency with Excel and general comfort with accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear professional communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- A proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
$65000 - $75000 a year
