Description of assignment

Do you want to be part of a development team that works on cool Automated Vehicles (AV) Then come and join us in Veghel!

Within Vanderlande we develop AVs for various applications like baggage transport on airports or pallets in warehousing. These vehicles are developed by teams with various disciplines like mechanics electronics and software. Some parts are developed inhouse and some are developed with partners. As part of continuous improvement we analyze the performance and find ideas for improvements.

But here we can use help and fresh ideas! What we ask for is an enthusiastic student with analyzing skills that can help us in taking the next step in these solutions. Your task will be testing analyzing and defining improvements for these solutions. Depending on your background the detailed subject can vary.

Next to this assignment we ask you to be really part of the team and assist where help is needed. This can be hands-on testing in the test center or in a virtual environment or with calculations.

Department description

The development team of around 10 people which you will be working in is part of the Technology department. The Automated Vehicles (AV) and Robotics team is situated within the Technology department. The team develops solutions that automate customer processes with the help of Robots and AVs (Autonomous Vehicles). The team is mainly situated in Veghel Netherlands but also works together with teams in North America and India.

Tasks/responsibilities

• Work together with a multi-disciplinary team on AV developments
• Analyze issues and define improvement proposals on how to improve these AV solutions performance
• Support the team in random tasks
