The Ranch Camp Lead will lead and oversee the daily activities and program at Ranch Camp in coordination with the Ranch Camp Manager and is responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship nurturing spiritual growth of campers through program activities and curriculum in a manner consistent with MHAs mission vision and values.
A mature follower of Jesus still growing and developing in their faith. Fully in accord with Mount Hermon Association Inc.s (MHA) mission vision values and statement of beliefs. Committed to living these out personally and instilling them in the organization. Of strong moral character and integrity.
Key Job Accountabilities:
* Implement and carry out coordination of all schedules and program for Ranch Camp and communicating responsibilities and needs to all staff. * Work successfully in tandem with the Ranch Camp Manager and Wrangler Lead.* Execute quality programs and activities for elementary through senior high campers.* Ensure that all programs are holistic and accomplishing set objectives.* Prepare and lead all staff meetings and program activities for Ranch Camp.* Ensure the safety and organization of all staff and campers at Ranch Camp.* Conduct mid and end of summer evaluations for the program and all supervised staff.* Other duties as assigned by the Ranch Camp Manager.* Keep Ranch Camp clean and tidy free of clutter.* Attend all staff meetings and events.* Share in the responsibilities of keeping camp areas including cabins living areas workspaces and supplies clean and orderly.* Actively participate in and contribute to the broader program with enthusiasm.* Actively engage and help build the summer staff community with your attitude words and actions.* Ensure smooth execution of the program specifically by being on time prepared and willing to assist with immediate and/or unforeseen needs.* Oversee and participate as needed with Timberline trail rides.* Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position oversees and provides leadership to the following positions:
* Ranch Camp Counselors
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
* At least 2 years college experience preferred.
* Must be CPR and First Aid certified.
*Must be 21 have a current valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
* Previous Kidder Creek experience preferred.* Prior experience working with elementary junior high and high school students.* Prior camp counseling experience preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to articulate the gospel of Jesus Christ as communicated in Scripture.* Ability to demonstrate a personal committed and thought-through faith in Christ.* Takes initiative with attention to detail and follow-through creative flexible and able to adjust to challenges of the program.* Able to engage in a variety of outdoor activities.* Ability to lead worship preferred* Attention to detail and follow-through creative and able to adjust to challenges of the program.* Flexible and adaptable to changing job assignments and schedules with short notice.
* Must be 21 or older due to MHs driver policy.
* Willingness to drive campers in camp vehicles. Must agree to and comply with MHAs employee driving guidelines for MHA owned vehicles and use of personal vehicles for business purposes.
* Adherence to the basic principles as expressed in MHAs Mission Vision Values and Commitment statements.
* Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
* Satisfactory completion of background investigation as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Staff IC
