WANTED: Manual Machinist Setup & Operation

Location: Brinkman Products Inc./Rochester NY

Employment Type: Full-Time

1st & 2nd Shifts: Start Time Flexible

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00/hr.

Brinkman Products Inc. is an industrial goods manufacturing company encompassing two lines of business; Davenport Machine and CJWinter. Both manufacture proprietary product lines which include Davenport multi-spindle screw machines thread rolling attachments thread rolls and tooling. Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Bridgeport mills manual lathes and grinders (or similar).
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and work instructions.
Select proper tooling speeds and feeds for various materials.
Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments (micrometers calipers indicators etc.).
Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are in good working condition.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

3 years of hands-on experience with manual machining (mills lathes etc.).
Strong ability to set up jobs independently.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T.
Experience with prototype and small batch work preferred.
Reliable detail-oriented and safety-focused.
