As a Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing backendsystems that power our web application includingcontent discovery knowledge management learning and coaching meeting intelligence and various AI capabilitiesas well as the front end development support ecosystem including the app exchange and core integrations developed and distributed by Seismic. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design build andmaintainscalable high-performance systems that deliver exceptional value to our customers. • Experience: 2 years of experience in software engineering and a proven track recordof building and scaling microservices and working with data retrieval systems.

• Technical Expertise:Experience with C# unit testing object-oriented programming and relational databases. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (TerraformPulumi etc.) event driven architectures with tools like Kafka feature management (Launch Darkly) is good to have.

• Strongproficiencyinfrontendtechnologiessuch as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks/libraries such asReact Angular or . Experience with TypeScript and state management libraries like Redux is a plus. Solid experience in writing and executing automated tests using frameworks such as Jest Mocha or Cypress. Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience implementing accessible designs.

• AI and Data Science Basic Knowledge:Experience in integrating AI-driven features intofrontendapplications or basic understanding of AI and data science concepts is a big plus.

• Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of cloud-native services for AI/ML data storage and processing. Experience deploying containerized applications into Kubernetes is a plus.

• SaaS Knowledge:Extensive experience in SaaS application development and cloud technologies with a deep understanding of modern distributedsystemsand cloud operational infrastructure.

• Product Development:Experience in collaborating with product management and design with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions thatdrive successful delivery.Proven record of driving feature development from concept to launch.

• Education:Bachelors orMasters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

• Fast-paced Environment:Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company.

• Distributed Systems Development:Design develop andmaintainbackend systems and services forAI information extraction or information retrievalfunctionality ensuring high performance scalability and reliability.

• Frontend Development:Design develop andmaintainfrontend solutions for Seismic developed applications and developerecosystem ensuring high performance scalability and reliability.

• Performance Tuning:Monitorandoptimizeserviceperformance addressing bottlenecks and ensuring low-latency query responses.

• Technical Leadership:Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers promoting best practices in backend development.

• Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams including product managersfrontendengineers and UX designers to deliver seamless and intuitive experiences.

• Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software andtechnologies conducting research and experimentation to drive innovation.
